Enroll/Cost

All University of Houston College of Medicine students are required to have the Student Health Insurance Plan unless comparable coverage is provided.

To enroll you and your dependents, please click on the link below. You will also have the option to add Dental by selecting Medical + Dental option in the drop-down menu. The Dental must be done at the time of medical enrollment and cannot be added once completed.

For those who are no longer eligible and were previously on the plan.

Continuation Enrollment Periods

Continuation of Coverage is only available to Insured Students and covered Dependents who have graduated or are no longer eligible for coverage under the University of Houston College of Medicine Student Health Insurance Plan. Covered students must have been insured for at least three (3) continuous months before coverage terminated under the Prior and/or Current Plan. Students must enroll in the Continuation prior to the current plan term date.

Only for those who have recently lost other coverage outside of Open Enrollment.
